MOUNTY MESSA Playstand

The MOUNTY MESSA PLAYSTANDS have been created to facilitate the need and the benefits of kids being able to build on a large scale. Playstands, along with playcloths, clips, hooks, and sandbags, provide children with the opportunity to build forts and create their own space, reflecting their growth as individuals. While offering therapeutic benefits for children with sensory processing disorders or anxiety, they can be used for a variety of purposes. From making cozy cubby houses, to play stores, doll corners, snug beds created by covering the floor with a rug or a playcouch, reading nooks, or anything else limited only by child’s imagination .

The MOUNTY MESSA PLAYSTANDS are versatile play areas that grow with children and offer opportunities for creative play in different developmental phases. PLAYSTANDS give the child the freedom to create the world they want to be in for this moment. The sense of self-determination a child obtains in being able to form their own space can be quite empowering. While play must be self-initiated and self-directed, adults can provide appropriate space and time for it to unfold undisturbed. As a river needs the river banks in order to flow properly, so does play needs facilitation or, using Steiner's word, guidance: "The adult sets the conditions, but what is gained from play is achieved through the self activity of the child."

The ARCO  can be mounted in two ways, each with three different angles. With battery-powered LED wire lighting included adding a touch of magic straight out of the box, these angle options provide flexibility to adapt to current children's needs, whether for displaying artwork/pictures in upright position or creating a cubby house with fabric stretched over the structure in the lowest setting.

Incorporating the essence of flexibility and durability, all components of our play furniture, with the exception of the side panels, are designed to be mounted upside down and/or front to back. This ingenious feature ensures that in the rare event of damage during hours of play, you can easily refresh the look of the furniture over time.
